Sweetness & light at Electric Picnic 2007

Focus Magazine
M&E just finished designing a cover for the 79th issue of the magazine FOCUS: Action For Global Justice.
Focus Magazine is produced quarterly, and on a voluntary basis, by Comhlámh members. It is available through Easons Newsagents and selected other outlets. There will also be an outlet at Electric Picnic.
We Are Moving
From late September on, we are going to be operating mainly from Malmö, Sweden.
Malmö is just across from Copenhagen and have wonderful cycling lanes everywhere as opposed to Dublin.
Forma Nova Festival
In July M&E were responsible for the design for FORMA NOVA FESTIVAL 2007.
The festival is located in Fredericia, Denmark and celebrated it's fifth year this summer.
Due to its committed organizers and splendid line-up it is bound to last forever.

Jape: Floating

Design Workshop
16th of Nov '06
M&E were invited by Candy and UCL to conduct a workshop with the 1st - 4th Year design students of the University College Limerick. The workshop was entitled Handmade: A hands on approach to designing for music. We'd like to thank the students for taking part. We learnt a lot.
Sweet Talk Fifteen
15th of Nov '06, The Trinity Rooms, Limerick.
Once again we were asked by the Candy Collective to speak at Sweet Talk, and once again we were terrified but made it out alive. Thanks again to Candy for being so supportive.
Candy Magazine Interview
m&e have been featured and interviewed by Candy Magazine for their latest Craft Issue. The magazine is available for download from www.candyculture.netThis issue of Candy Culture will also be available on the dvd which accompanies the latest issue IdN Magazine. www.idnworld.com
Back to School Design Book
m&e were asked by flk studios to create an original piece on the theme of something that influenced them artistically as a child. 20 Irish designers, illustrators and photographers were invited to create an original piece based around this brief to be published as an 88 page book.The aim of the book is to raise much needed funds and art supplies for the play department in the Children's University Hospital, Temple Street.The launch party will be held on the 29th of September. Sweet Talk 15, 15/11/06
m&e will be giving a talk as part of Sweet Talk 15 at The Trinity Rooms, Limerick, on the 15th of November 06. Doors will be at 7pm and admission is €7.They will also be conducting a workshop with the design students of UCL the following day. More information available at www.candyculture.net
Messiah J & The Expert album cover
m&e have just finished the design for Irish hip hop artists Messiah J & The Expert 's latest album, Now This I Have To Hear. It will be available from the beginning of October 06.
